How to Capture & Submit Fingerprint Impressions
All submissions are reviewed before production. If the material is unsuitable or a clearer version is required, we will contact you.

Method 1: using an ink pad

-
Wash and dry your hands thoroughly.
-
Use black or dark blue stationary ink and clean, unlined white paper.
-
Lightly coat the fingertip without oversaturating it.

-
Press the finger firmly onto the paper.
-
Lift it directly upwards to avoid smudging.
-
Capture multiple prints so we can select the clearest.
-
Allow the ink to dry before photographing or scanning the page. See the submission guidelines at the bottom of the page.
For the clearest results:
-
The ridges should be visible.
-
The print should not appear heavily inked or blurred.
