We understand how personal these details are. Every fingerprint, handwritten note, or sound you share is handled with the utmost care, respect, and sensitivity. These elements are used only to create your jewelry, and are safeguarded throughout the process, so your keepsake remains private.
Is the full fingerprint engraved?
No. Only a portion of the fingerprint is artistically selected and refined for engraving. The final design is a stylized interpretation and does not contain a complete fingerprint.
Can my fingerprint or personalization data be misused?
No. The engraved or carved design cannot be used for identification, biometric, or forensic purposes. Your personalization details are never shared, sold, or used for anything beyond creating your jewelry.
How is my personal data protected?
All personalization details are handled with care and strict confidentiality. Files are stored securely and accessed only by those directly involved in creating your piece.
How long is my data kept?
Original fingerprint scan files are securely deleted within 60 days after your jewelry has been completed and delivered.
A refined engraving file (which is partial and stylized) may be retained securely to allow for future reorders or additional pieces, should you wish.
What about handwriting or voice recordings?
Handwriting and voice or sound recordings are treated with the same level of care and confidentiality. Only the portion needed to create your jewelry design is used.
Do I need to give consent?
Yes. By placing a personalized order, you give consent for us to use the submitted information strictly for the creation of your jewelry.
Can I reorder another piece in the future?
Where possible, previously created design files may be reused to ensure consistency. If original reference files are no longer available, new information may be requested.
Does the finished jewelry contain identifiable data?
No. The final engraved or carved design is an artistic representation and does not contain information that can identify a person.
