the Forever-With-You fingerprint capture app,
the Forever-With-You personalized jewelry collection, and

Because Forever-With-You pieces may involve deeply personal content (such as fingerprints, handwriting, or voice recordings) we handle all submitted information with care, discretion, and strict purpose limitation.

Part A — Forever-With-You Fingerprint Capture App

This section applies specifically to the Forever-With-You fingerprint capture app, which allows users to capture fingerprint images for artistic engraving.

Purpose of the app

The app captures and processes fingerprint images to create engraving-ready renderings used in the creation of Forever-With-You jewelry.

Fingerprints are considered sensitive biometric data. In this app, fingerprints are captured only as images for artistic engraving purposes. The app does not perform biometric identification, authentication, or identity verification.

You should capture only your own fingerprint, or another person’s fingerprint with their informed consent.

What the app captures

The app may capture and process:

Fingerprint images captured using your device camera
Engraving-ready renderings derived from those images
Optional metadata entered by you (such as finger labels or notes)

The app does not automatically collect identity information unless you choose to include it in optional notes.

Where the data is stored

Fingerprint data is stored primarily on your device.

Captured images and related metadata may be stored within the app’s private data directory on your device for a limited period.
This directory is sandboxed, meaning other apps cannot access it without device-level access.
When you export a capture, the app generates an encrypted .fwy file, which is temporarily stored on your device before you choose how to share it.

The app does not create or maintain a biometric database and does not store fingerprint data on external servers.

Retention within the app

Fingerprint images and metadata remain on your device until you delete them, or the app removes them after a limited period.
You may delete captures or discard sessions at any time.
Exported files remain wherever you save or share them and must be deleted manually if you wish them to be removed.

Data transmission

The app does not automatically upload fingerprint images to external servers.

Files leave your device only when you explicitly export or share them using your device’s sharing features.

No fingerprint data is transmitted to us or to third parties unless you explicitly choose to export and share the file.

Security

Exported .fwy files are encrypted.
On-device data is stored in the app’s secure sandboxed environment.

While reasonable safeguards are implemented, you remain responsible for protecting exported files once they leave the app.

Important limitations.

The fingerprint capture app is intended solely for artistic engraving purposes.

The app does not perform biometric identification, authentication, or identity verification. Fingerprints are processed only as images to generate artistic engraving references.

Fingerprint capture quality may vary depending on lighting, motion, camera hardware, skin condition, and environmental factors.

Users are responsible for obtaining lawful consent when capturing another person’s fingerprint and for safeguarding exported files once they leave the app.

Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

THE APP AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOSANNE MARK LTD., ITS DEVELOPERS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE APP OR THE STORAGE OR SHARING OF FINGERPRINT DATA.

Part B — Forever-With-You Personalization Data

This section applies to all personalization content submitted to us in connection with Forever-With-You jewelry.

This may include data captured through the fingerprint app or provided through other methods such as email, consultation, or in-person capture.

Personalization information we may receive

Depending on the design requested, we may receive:

fingerprint images or scans
handwriting samples or signatures
voice or sound recordings
notes relating to design placement or customization
contact and order information necessary to complete the piece

Children’s personalization content

Forever-With-You jewelry may incorporate children’s fingerprints, handwriting, or voice recordings when requested by a client.

By submitting a child’s information, you confirm that you are a parent, guardian, or authorized adult with the legal right to provide that information.

By submitting fingerprint images, handwriting, voice recordings, or other personalization content, you represent that you have the legal right and appropriate consent to provide that information for the purpose of creating the requested jewelry.

How personalization data is used

Forever-With-You information is used only to:

design and produce your jewelry
communicate with you regarding your order
support reorders or additional pieces where design files are retained

Fingerprints and the finished jewelry

Only a portion of a fingerprint is used.
The engraving is a stylized artistic interpretation.
The finished jewelry does not contain a full fingerprint and cannot be used for biometric identification or forensic purposes.

Confidentiality and security

Personalization files are handled with strict confidentiality.

Files are stored securely and accessed only by those involved in designing and producing your jewelry. We apply reasonable safeguards to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration.

Sharing with trusted production partners

We do not sell personal information.

In some cases, limited personalization data may be shared with carefully selected third parties where required to complete specialized production processes.

Only the minimum information necessary is shared, and appropriate confidentiality and data protection safeguards are required of those parties.

Retention of personalization data

Original fingerprint images and reference files are generally deleted within 60 days after the jewelry has been completed and delivered.
A refined engraving file may be retained securely to support future reorders, if desired.

If original reference files are no longer available, new information may be required for additional pieces.

This section applies to general website use, store purchases, and customer communications.
