OUR COMMITMENT
to sustainable luxury
Luxury should feel good;
not only to wear, but to believe in!
Every piece we create honours the earth, the hands that shape it, and the legacies it will live through.
Our sustainability practices are built on traceability, mindful craft, and a deep reverence for nature.

Ethical Materials, Transparent Origins
Our Metals
The journey of precious metal, from the earth to the jeweller’s bench, is long and intricate.
It passes through miners, refiners, traders, and a network of specialists before finally reaching our workshop, where it is shaped into an heirloom. With so many hands involved, true traceability is only possible when every step in this chain is governed by rigorous, internationally recognised standards. This is why we work exclusively with suppliers certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC); the global authority that audits and upholds ethical, environmental, and human-rights standards within the jewellery industry.
Their certification is a third-party verification that every participant in the supply chain complies with:
-
the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for responsible mineral sourcing
-
strict human-rights protections
-
anti-corruption practices
-
fair labour standards
-
environmental stewardship requirement

Our partners use recycled (above-ground) precious metals whenever possible, dramatically reducing the demand for new mining. When newly mined gold is necessary, it is sourced only from responsible, RJC-certified mines operating with transparency, safe labour conditions, and environmental care.
This commitment ensures our metals are traceable, ethical, and aligned with the highest global standards of responsible luxury.

Our Gemstones
We source all diamonds and most of our coloured gemstones through suppliers who provide GIA or equivalent laboratory certification, ensuring both authenticity and accountability. Our suppliers are long-standing industry professionals committed to ethical sourcing, responsible practices, and full transparency.
Whether you choose natural or lab-grown diamonds/gems, each stone is vetted for:
-
traceability
-
conflict-free origins
-
certification validity
-
responsible human-rights practices
-
quality and beauty
For clients wishing to honour their personal history, we also work with heirloom stones, giving treasured gems a new life in contemporary designs.

Mindful, Small-Batch Craftsmanship
Our studio in Trinidad operates on a small-batch, low-waste model
one rooted in slow luxury and intentional creation. Every piece is hand-finished with meticulous care, allowing us to maintain exceptional quality without unnecessary excess.
We prioritise: designing with minimal waste, repurposing clients’ sentimental gemstones, producing made-to-order pieces to eliminate overproduction and careful tool, chemical, and resource management. This approach honours both tradition and sustainability; proving that fine jewelry can be environmentally conscious without compromising on beauty.

Human Rights & Ethical Partnerships
Our commitment to responsible craftsmanship extends beyond materials to the people behind them. We partner with suppliers whose policies uphold internationally recognised human-rights standards, including the ILO Principles, UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the RJC Code of Practices.
Their operations are guided by:
-
safe and ethical working conditions
-
zero tolerance for child labour or forced labour
-
fair wages and reasonable working hours
-
anti-bribery and anti-money-laundering systems
-
clear accountability and grievance mechanisms
These standards are central to the certifications held by our overseas casting partners, whose documented policies reinforce their commitment to responsible practice from mine to finished metal component.
By aligning ourselves with certified partners, we ensure the materials that reach our workshop have been handled with dignity, fairness, and transparency.

Environmental Responsibility
Luxury feels richer when it carries a conscience. Our environmental approach is rooted in long-term sustainability rather than short-lived trends. We keep our footprint intentionally small, producing in limited quantities and crafting each piece with a level of care that naturally limits waste. Every decision; from how we source, to how we design, to how we package, is made with mindfulness, restraint, and a deep respect for the world that inspires our work.
Durability is central to our philosophy; when a piece is built to last for generations, its impact becomes gentler, and its beauty more meaningful. Longevity, after all, is one of the most powerful forms of sustainability.
Frequently asked questions
Are your diamonds conflict-free? Yes. Our diamonds and gemstones are sourced exclusively through trusted suppliers who follow internationally recognised ethical standards and provide full transparency in their practices.
Do you use recycled metals? We prioritise recycled, above-ground metals refined through RJC-certified suppliers, reducing the demand for newly mined resources while maintaining exceptional purity and consistency. Because our pieces are cast using highly specific, professionally controlled alloys, we do not recycle client-supplied scrap gold. This ensures that every piece is made from metals of known composition and integrity, preserving the strength, durability, and finish required for fine jewelry.
Can I request documentation for my gemstone? Absolutely. For diamonds and select gemstones, a GIA (or equivalent) laboratory report is available for eligible stones. In bespoke or custom projects, certification is decided together during the sourcing stage, based on the type of stone you choose and the level of documentation you prefer.
Do you offer lab-grown diamonds and coloured gems? Yes. We offer both natural and lab-grown options.
Can you work with my heirloom stones? We would be honoured to. Heirloom stones carry meaningful personal history and are a thoughtful, sustainable choice. We assess each stone for suitability before starting the design to ensure it can be securely and beautifully set.

How does packaging fit into your sustainability commitment?
Our packaging is intentionally minimal and designed to be kept rather than discarded. We choose materials that align with our environmental values and avoid unnecessary plastics.
Do you ship sustainably? We choose shipping partners that offer reliable, efficient routes and constantly evaluate options to reduce environmental impact. Our focus is always on balancing responsible shipping with the safety of your heirloom piece.
