- About The Designer|Josanne Mark|Trinidad & Tobago
Josanne Mark is a Luxury Jewelry Designer with over a decade of experience. Her designs exude unique sophistication and have been featured in Vouge Magazine. Get To Know Josanne HOW IT ALL STARTED Josanne graduated from the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in Manhattan in 2011 Summa Cum Laude with the degree in Jewelry Design but the degree was not the start of her success, merely a step along the road. Born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, Josanne is a South girl, from the industrial, oil producing area of Fyzabad. While studying at the University of the West Indies where she pursued her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Human Resource Management, Josanne’s passion for design and beautiful things incited her to create jewelry which she sold to her fellow students and to a number of souvenir shops in Trinidad’s capital. PURSUING A PASSION FOR DESIGN After graduating from University, she pursued her passion full-time and was recognized as a top youth entrepreneur in the National Youth Awards of 2008. Her first jewelry line as a full-time designer was accepted by a leading luxury retailer in Trinidad and Tobago; a feat which opened doors for other local designers. Her collections have been showcased at several select events throughout Trinidad and in New York where she participated in the prestigious Grand Central Holiday exhibition. Her work was also showcased at Studio 66 Art Gallery in Upstate New York and in many online exhibitions including the esteemed Ganoskin Project, one of the oldest online jewelry resources. Josanne is member of the Manufacturing Jewelers and Suppliers of America Association and continues to develop her knowledge base in her pursuit of her passion. DESIGN PHILOSOPHY Josanne's work is rooted in reverence; for nature, for legacy, and for the power of mindful creation. Her work is a poetic ode to the intricate dance between form and emotion, where jewelry transcends its material value to become a catalyst for self-expression. Her creations are a harmonious blend of organic contours and geometric precision; each piece combines the soul of traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation. DESIGN INSPIRATION In the world according to Josanne, inspiration is as boundless as the horizon. It is in the tangible textures of the Earth, in the ephemeral beauty of human emotion, and in the myriad of experiences that color our existence. Her designs are a conduit for the stories we carry, crafted not only with the hands but with the heart; each piece a reflection of the infinite muse that is life itself . Her rather panoptic artistic point-of-view lends to her diverse design style that is both engaging and unpredictable. SUSTAINABILITY & INTEGRITY Each piece begins with conscious choices; from recycled gold and conflict-free stones to packaging crafted from renewable materials. Josanne's goal is simple: to create heirlooms that carry love forward without compromising the world we leave behind. She crafts jewelry that’s as kind as it is beautiful. Sustainability, to her, is a value system: She designs slowly, produces intentionally, and partners with suppliers who share a respect for ethical practices and the preservation of our world’s natural beauty. . Learn how to record or submit an audio or video file for a stylized sound wave engraving on your Forever-with-You custom keepsake jewelry. How to Prepare & Submit Audio or Video for Sound Waves A soundwave is a stylized visual representation of audio and is adapted to fit your chosen piece. It does not store or play the original recording. Using an Existing Audio | Voice Note | Video? Send the highest-quality original file available. Tell us the exact words or sound you would like used. Provide the start and end timestamps, for example, 00:12–00:17. Recording a New Message for Your Jewelry? Choose a quiet room and turn off fans, music and television. Use your phone’s voice recorder or WhatsApp to record your message. Hold the phone approximately one hand’s length away. Speak clearly and naturally at a steady pace. Avoid long pauses between words. Leave a brief moment of silence before and after speaking. Record two or three versions and send the original audio files. Short, continuous words or phrases generally create the clearest and most cohesive soundwave image. When placing your online order, upload your file using the field provided on the product page.

See our Exclusive Bespoke and Custom Jewelry Design Fee Structure. BESPOKE/CUSTOM JEWELRY fee structure Consultation and Design Development We invite you to schedule a brief call to share your ideas and see if we’re the right fit for your vision. This initial conversation is complementary and helps us understand what you’re looking for before we begin the creative process. To move forward, a non-refundable Design Development Fee of TT $700 / US $110 per design is required before design work begins. This fee allows us to begin developing your concept. Once you proceed with production, this amount is credited toward your final purchase. Complex projects, such as heavily detailed or sculptural designs, may incur additional design fees, determined on a case-by-case basis. Because each piece begins with a design exploration stage (including sketches, refinement, and the consideration of multiple design directions before moving into the 3D model) a quotation can only be provided once the design has been decided on and the 3D model is built. If, at any stage, you wish to pursue an entirely new concept, an additional Design Development Fee will apply. Production To begin production, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the finished price, as quoted upon completion of the 3D model, is required. The remaining balance becomes due only upon completion of your special piece. At Josanne Mark, we strive to create a seamless and enjoyable experience throughout the bespoke jewelry process.
