Learn how to submit fingerprints, handwriting, drawings, voice recordings and artwork for your personalized Josanne Mark Forever-with-You keepsake jewelry. How to capture location coordinates On your cellphone, open Google Maps in your web browser, (not on the app). Search for the general location, then zoom in closely to find the exact spot you wish to use. Press and hold an unlabelled area of the map to drop a pin. Your coordinates will appear at the top of the screen. If they do not, tap the Dropped pin panel at the bottom. Copy all the numbers exactly as shown, including any minus signs. They should appear in this format: 10.5914° N, 61.4553° W When placing your online order, paste your copied coordinates onto the field provided for engraved text on the product page. Verify Before Submitting Paste the coordinates into Google Maps and confirm that the pin lands on the exact intended location. Check every digit, decimal point and minus sign carefully. BESPOKE/CUSTOM JEWELRY fee structure Consultation and Design Development We invite you to schedule a brief call to share your ideas and see if we’re the right fit for your vision. This initial conversation is complementary and helps us understand what you’re looking for before we begin the creative process. To move forward, a non-refundable Design Development Fee of TT $700 / US $110 per design is required before design work begins. This fee allows us to begin developing your concept. Once you proceed with production, this amount is credited toward your final purchase. Complex projects, such as heavily detailed or sculptural designs, may incur additional design fees, determined on a case-by-case basis. Because each piece begins with a design exploration stage (including sketches, refinement, and the consideration of multiple design directions before moving into the 3D model) a quotation can only be provided once the design has been decided on and the 3D model is built. If, at any stage, you wish to pursue an entirely new concept, an additional Design Development Fee will apply. Production To begin production, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the finished price, as quoted upon completion of the 3D model, is required. Welcome to our Waranty registration page. Our Warranty REGISTER HERE We value and appreciate your business and we stand behind our craftsmanship! The following explains our warranty policies. ENGAGEMENT RINGS & FINE JEWELRY Complimentary to you, we will replace or repair any piece that is damaged due to manufacturing defects (e.g. prongs that need to be tightened etc.) for a period of one year from the purchase date. Normal wear and tear and damages due to neglect, abuse or accidents are NOT covered by our warranty and will be repaired at a cost to the customer. Warranty coverage is based upon our inspection and sole determination. Regular upkeep of your jewelry is required to maintain your warranty. This includes paying for any normal repairs required due to wear, damage, or abuse. Please note that ONLY pieces registered for warranty will be covered. Registration also automatically qualifies you to receive invitations to special events and new collection launches. Invitations or notifications will be sent out no more than four times per year. Josanne Mark Ltd. guarantees that your personal details are safe and will not be shared with any third party individuals or organizations. GENERAL WARRANTY FOR ALL OTHER JEWELRY (for all our collections, one of a kind designs and custom pieces, except fine jewelry) Complimentary to you, we will replace or repair any piece that is damaged due to manufacturing defects. FREE professional cleaning is covered under our general warranty. This is recommended as often as twice per year and we encourage you to contact us for this service. WARRANTY EXCEPTIONS & EXCLUSIONS (All jewelry categories) Our warranty does NOT cover the following items: 1. Any damage to your jewelry purchase due to negligence or abuse. (For Example: If a stone is lost due to bent, damaged, or worn out prongs, Josanne Mark Ltd. is not responsible for the replacement of the stone or the re-tipping of the prongs. The jewelry was neglected and abused and the warranty becomes void). 2. Any Damage to your jewelry purchase due to accidents. (For Example: if a piece is dropped on a hard surface and becomes chipped, cracked or is broken). 3. If another jeweler performs any repair work or cleaning on any of our pieces, we will not be held responsible for any loss or defect and the warranty becomes null and void. Please note: Proper care of your jewelry is required to maintain your warranty. See our section on Jewelry Care . Learn how to safely capture and submit a paw or nose print for your personalized Forever-with-You keepsake jewelry. How to Capture Pet Prints We may also be able to work from an existing paw or nose print, veterinary keepsake, or photograph. Capturing Paw Prints We recommend shaving the hair around your pet's paw pad. Use a non-toxic print kit specifically designed for pets. (linked below). Make sure the paw is clean and dry. Follow the instructions provided with the kit. Press the paw onto a clean sheet of paper, Lift it straight upwards to avoid smudging. You can also try allowing your pet to walk on the paper. Capture several prints if your pet remains comfortable. Stop if your pet becomes restless or distressed. Capturing Nose Prints Use only a non toxic kit specifically designed for pet nose prints. (linked below). Follow the instructions provided with the kit. Never press aggressively or force your pet to participate. Capture several prints if your pet remains comfortable. Stop immediately if your pet becomes distressed. Do not apply graphite, ordinary fingerprint ink or untested materials to your pet’s nose. Purchase the Recommended Kit on Amazon Scan or photograph you pet's prints WHEN PHOTOGRAPHING Place the paper on a flat surface. Use soft, even lighting. Hold the camera directly above it. Make sure the image is sharp and in focus. Avoid flash, glare and heavy shadows. Photograph the entire sheet. Send a second, closer image of the print you would like used. If you are unsure whether your prints are suitable, please contact us for an assessment. How to Capture & Submit Fingerprint Impressions All submissions are reviewed before production. If the material is unsuitable or a clearer version is required, we will contact you. Method 1: using an ink pad Wash and dry your hands thoroughly. Use black or dark blue stationary ink and clean, unlined white paper. Lightly coat the fingertip without oversaturating it. Press the finger firmly onto the paper. Lift it directly upwards to avoid smudging. Capture multiple prints so we can select the clearest. Allow the ink to dry before photographing or scanning the page. For the clearest results: The ridges should be visible. The print should not appear heavily inked or blurred. unusable unusable the perfect imprint Method 2:using a graphite pencil Wash and dry hands thoroughly. Shade a dark, even patch using a soft graphite pencil. Press clear adhesive tape onto the fingertip. Carefully lift the tape without sliding it Gently rub the fingertip across the shaded area. Place the tape flat onto clean white paper. Repeat the process two or three times. Want to Use an Existing Fingerprint? A fingerprint impression already held by your family may be suitable, including one belonging to a loved one who has passed. Send the highest-quality scan or photograph available. Include the complete, uncropped image. Do not apply filters, sharpening or digital alterations. Keep the original document safely in your possession. To Submit: Scan or photograph your fingerprint impressions For photographs, capture at least 2 images: the entire page and a close-up of the clearest fingerprint/s. For a clear photograph: Place the page flat, in bright even light. Hold your phone directly above the page. Avoid flash, shadows and glare. Check that the fingerprint ridges are sharp and visible. Submit the original images without filters or editing. When placing your online order, upload your scan or photograph using the upload field provided on the product page.
